My professional career has developed in the field of language teaching (Spanish, English and German). I worked as a foreign language teacher in secondary schools, official language schools and centers for adults.
I have experience in teaching languages in Catalonia since October 2007 and in Germany from 2006 to July 2007. My first contact with this field was during the school-year 2001-02. I worked as a language assistant at the high-schools Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium (Marbach) and Mörike-Gymnasium (Ludwigsburg) in Germany.
My goal is to continue progressing in this occupation within the framework of the new information and communication technologies (ICT). That’s the reason why I am studying the Master of Arts in eLearning.
My functions as a foreign language teacher in Catalonia:
– To ensure the personal development of the students and the achievement of the key competencies.
– To design the didactic unit plans introducing cross-curricular projects and to adapt the syllabus to the group-class.
– To attend to diversity.
– To coordinate with the other teachers to elaborate and adapt the curriculum to the students.
– To assess the students, the learning-teaching process and myself (peer assessment and self-assessment).
– To provide school and professional guidance.
– To encourage cooperative and collaborative learning and the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies).
Main competencies: Learning and use of knowledge, planning and organization, communication, empathy, targeting students and analytical thinking.
My functions at the high-schools in the south of Germany and in Berlin:
– Individualized support to the Spanish teachers.
– Small classes.
– Conversation.
– Individualized support to the students.
